Inspired by those “blue” moments of the Academy-Award winning Traffic (2001), I made by own interpretation of Cliff Martinez’s incredible work for the film. The track is “La Cagaste”.
this song makes me cry soo much. it makes me remember all of the good times that i had in my life so far. wat happened. how did things get like this. the world. the world has changed. i just wish i could go back so bad. i do realize though that things will only get worse, not better, and i realize that. i know one thing though. when the time finally comes, i will be listening to this great piece of art, right here by myself… relaxed, calm, in another reality, in my quite place.
It does all have a very strange mood. Not quite sad, not quite happy. I don’t think
it’s as easily defined as the above.
There are only a handful of artists who manage to get this kind of atmosphere in their work. One example, for me at least, being Boards Of Canada. Rather different in a lot of ways, but that mood is definitely there.
I think my brother says it best when he describes the mood generated as being a thoughtful one. Such incredible music.
There is not one single piece of music that makes me more relaxed, more calm, more aware and amazed by the world around me. The track is a lullaby wrapped in a dream within another dream. For almost 3 minutes, I am a newborn, and overwhelming wonder fills my every sense.
beautifully fleeting – like a musical haiku
Perfect music for a perfect movie! moving!

this track was sampled by Jakatta. the song is called: ‘it will be’. according to me, both of them are great !
i try to remember that everyday is a miracle. that this world we live in is a truly beautiful place, and that we only live once.
