In this video you will see carbide footage of the Inland Lakes Railway Mount Dora Champion. The trip will take you on a round trip from Mount Dora to Tavares, Florida. The crew consisted of Thomas East as the engineer, Daniel Nester as the conductor, and Jared Davis [Me] as the in-cab conductor. Extra Note 1: I make an appearance in this video at 6:33. Extra Note 2: Although the Grade Crossing at 6:55 had gates & rubber gaskets for the road traffic, there was no road. The city had planned to put a neighborhood on the right side of the tracks, but a slow economy has stalled the project.
